SPNC events cancelled for 2020

Unfortunately, due to the restrictions imposed as a result of COVID-19, we are still unable to have meetings or excursions. All field trips are cancelled until the end of 2020. The Christmas Bird Count may still run. We will know in November whether it’s a go.

SPNC Signs on to Letter to Premier Ford

The Ontario government is proposing to reduce the scope of our Conservation Authorities, which play a very important role in the conservation of our natural resources. Along with 111 other organizations, South Peel Naturalists’ Club has co-signed a letter to Premier Ford and relevant ministers advocating for Conservation  Authorities to retain their many important functions.
