COVID-19 update: Our outdoor activities are proceeding as scheduled.

Field Trips are scheduled on weekends throughout the year, from September to June.

Summer walks are scheduled in the evenings from May to August.

Trips are rated as to difficulty of terrain and the duration of walking involved with each outing.

As well, for over 55 years, SPNC members have organized and participated in the annual Christmas Bird Count — a record of bird species and numbers sighted in Mississauga / Oakville on count day — which is scheduled each year for the Saturday prior to Christmas.
