Understanding our Wildlife Neighbours – Tues. Nov. 26

The Oakville & Milton Humane Society announces their new “Let’s Talk Animals: Speaker Series”.

The first seminar in this series, “Understanding our Wildlife Neighbours”, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 26th, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the new Trafalgar Park Community Centre (Kerr St. & Rebecca St., Oakville), and will feature guest speaker Lesley Sampson, Founding Executive Director of Coyote Watch Canada.

Ms. Sampson is recognized as a specialist in coyote behaviour and non-lethal coexistence methodologies. She has been working on behalf of Canids for over two decades and has facilitated conflict resolution outreach for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, and is currently providing workshop training for government agencies, Animal Services, and humane societies.

This presentation will provide insight into the coyote/human dynamics, family structure, and how to cultivate compassionate community coexistence.
