Birding

Birdwatching can be done just about anywhere ... in your own backyard, down the street, close to home or in parks, conservation areas and from country roadsides. We invite you to read about Birding Hotspots and more.

Botany

In the Mississauga-Oakville area, we are fortunate to live where both Carolinian and Boreal species are found, in some cases side-by-side; where a short drive brings us to the unique environment of the Niagara Escarpment — a World Biosphere Reserve. We invite you to read about Botany Hotspots in South Peel and Halton.

Welcome!

Our Mission is to:
  • Encourage the enjoyment and study of nature and the environment
  • Promote the preservation and conservation of our flora and fauna, land and water
  • Foster awareness and education of our natural surroundings
